Patience and Perseverance

Thought for the Week: We are all living through trying times. There is too much to do, too much work, not enough playtimes. However, we have God and through Him we have our Christian friends. Let's look toward the future knowing that patience and perseverance will bring us tranquility and happiness.

St James said this about Perseverance:  "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance .Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

"Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial,

because when he has stood the test,

he will receive the crown of life that God

as promised to those who love him."

(James 1 verse 12)
